Among her many awards and honors, Dr. Melinda received the 2005 Outstanding Ph.D. Student award from the Department of Animal Sciences from her university. Her work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals.
Dr. Melinda is a devoted animal lover. She shares her life with 2 dogs, 1 horse and 8 cats (5 of which she rescued while she worked at a no-kill shelter). Dr. Melinda’s compassion and expertise have made her an ideal advisor to many pet parents through the years, and now she is here for your pet too.
